Defeating Islamic Terrorism

Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:

Submitted by Phillip (United States), Dec 6, 2006 at 11:45

Dr. Pipes,

The historical time line of Islam is clearly one of domination and proliferaton of Islam by the sword. Pagan brutality at its worst.

An interesting recent quote to ponder: The Western thought of solving the immediate problem, then going on to tomorrow. Islam is bent on solving the problems of yesterday in order to go back into the twelth century.

I continue to be puzzled by your apparent approach to Islam as though it were morally equivalent to Christianity, in its Orthodox sense.
