in response to reader comment: contra contra contra

"There is much controversy as to whether those "facts" (as you call them), actually have any foundations. The fact that most of western history excluded anything islamic because state and church would not allow it, they were too pompous. As you now state. And I am not stating that there aren't any great people in the world that aren't Islamic. I'm just stating the contrary to your comment that there are NO great thinkers who are Islamic, which is false in it's entirety."

the only "thinker" was averroes.

If you read the live of averroes, there is clearly written that he couldn't go further with his studied because he thought they were against islamic teachings!!!!!

He was even JAILED for that!

But you muslims conveniently forget this issue. Christians have no problem telling you that Galileo was put on trial by the church. Yet you DENY that averroes had any problem with islam. Which is FALSE.

Same with avicenna.

That's why the muslim brain is locked to critical thinking and you live in 3rd world countries and illiteracy is the proper condition of muslim countries.

The only reasons why you muslims aren't STARVING are 2:

1) oil

2) western charity.

remember to say thank you to the infidels for point 2
