manipulation of verse

Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:
in response to reader comment: Two verses or Never tell the truth to a kaffir!

this only tells me one thing... you really should get your knowledge together... those versus are used as METAPHORS within a different context.... with different meanings for every Ummat... AGAIN:

Faith corresponds with God and not with humanity because only God knows truly what is in your heart! You can pray on the lips and not mean it in your heart, and you can lie out of fear of death when someone (as the story goes, a Kafir according to the verse) forces you to deny your faith (that is what that particular verse is about BTW!!!) and God can forgive for he knows the capabilities of humankind and he is the Merciful and Compassionate.

It is also not a compulsory law for every muslim to LIE... Especially based on the categorization of Kafir... Kafir is not just someone who is non Muslim but also someone who is Muslim but does not act within accordance of what a Muslim entitles (responsible actions and a pure heart... all religions seek it, Islam is not excluded). So, another piece of solipsism, if a muslim is entitled to lie to a kafir what differentiates him from the kafir when a liar is also a Kafir in Islam? Hmmm, quite a conondrum...
