Are you implying that reading the Quran for himself a Moslem would find in it other phrases than those quoted by mullahs and imams every Friday ?

"This is what is keeping the cauldron bubbling. Realistically, we've got to find some way to silence those religious leaders so as to nullify their influence."

Even if we silence them , will we thereby obliterate all of more than 120 verses praising a criminal code of behaviour "in the path of Allah" ?
