I have to agree with you, Dr. Pipes.

Western governments need to do more, just as Muslims need to do more. Western governments need to stop giving asylum to extremist Muslim preachers, especially those who have been kicked out of their home countries. They're like snakes. Too many of them, as you know, have settled down in countries like the UK, the USA, Germany and the Scandinavian countries.

In short, deny a voice to the extremist loudmouths. Deny their base access to their self-anointed leaders. Then pick off individual extremists one by one.

Individuals living in western countries who wish to settle there but do not wish to assimilate should be sent back to their home countries. I don't care if they're extremist Muslims or illegal aliens from Mexico.

I, for one, support the toughening of the exam required to pass in order to become a US Citizen. Immigrants who want to become US Citizens must not only swear to uphold the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights but also know and understand how the system works. Too many naturalized citizens of the USA have NO IDEA how the US system works and take the time to complain about how "rotten" the USA is.

I'm not against profiling of Muslims at airports and other mass transportation boarding points. It's a shame that things have come to this. But those who will complain among Muslims are the loudmouths who will claim to speak for the entire Muslim community. These guys need to be silenced and, perhaps, deported. Most Muslims, will not mind being profiled and even if some of them do, most among them won't speak up.
