Beelzebub/China: reply to Charles Stewart

Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:
in response to reader comment: China?

The lesson China teaches the rest of us about dealing with militant Islam is to strike it hard, brutally, continuously, and with a mindset that feels that those benighted barbarians ought to be d---d grateful to civilization [oops, liberation] imposed at gunpoint, and that any who dares dissent preemptively gets the martyrdom he so dearly cherishes. The Chinese Communists slaughtered whole Muslim villages in pacifying the Northwest back in 1949-1956, and in the Cultural Revolution forced Muslim farmers to raise the "Hei chongzi" (black bug = pig). The result is that fanatical Muslim states kiss Beijing's [anatomical reference deleted by author] while throwing brickbats at Westerners and Israelis who show Islam respect. Indeed, it is Americans, Canadians, and Germans (plus a handful of Turks) who have shown the most concern for religious liberty issues in Sharki Turkistan, not Muslim countries.

But what do we do? We tolerate in our fair land that despicable oaf Dr. Omar Shahin, whose "scholarship" consists of "proving" that the JOOOOOOOOOOOZ flew the planes into the WTC; and give him a sympathetic ear when he whines about how mean they were to him when he was cheerfully giving flyers in Minneapolis-St. Paul the willies.
