Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:
in response to reader comment: Dogmatically stigmatizing?

"well, there is the ottoman empire that's a good lesson, then of course there is the moore dynasty thats a good historical lesson, Imam Al Ghazali, and other mind wizzes that paved the way for grecian and later western philosophy, of course as the prophet Muhammad"

lesson in what? murder, rape, loot, discrimination, racism, misogyny...?

"seek knowledge as far as your mind permits which is why there is an islamic admiral from china who paved the path for sea routes"

Columbus, Vespucci, Cortez, Diaz, Magellano travelled a lot by sea, none of them was islamic

"And Jihad was only considered something of a "physical war" after the wahhabist's, and not before because before the Islam was still true and that is why most muslims today are still on search of the Islam that was "before". perhaps you should take a further look around before you claim me as someone who doesn't learn"

As I already explained to you, the moors looting sicily, while bringing nothing positive to what was once one of the most rich and fertile land of the past (magna grecia) they weren't wahabists. They were simply muslims.

And before you say some other idiocy about history of the "glorious" looters moors, I am from italy so don't teach me anything about the DAMAGES the moors did in south italy

"I mean Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a long time ago, I'm sure everyone has forgotten. Especially the children and their parents who are still having to bare the brunt of post nuclear radioactivity."

here you pass the level of decency. I have a friend who travelled to japan. there is nothing of that in hiroshima or nagasaki. Not even the greater area of chernobyl has got radiation anymore, and that explosion was 100 times more than Hiroshima's and it happened just 20 years ago....

"I don't hate America really. But playing judge on the streets and stamping something on people that you think belong in one category are not what the founding fathers of America were dreaming of, nor are they what you dream of now right? fighting terror with more brute force does nothing but increase the terror."

Excuse me, what's the role of american in the fact that 70% of jailed people in denmark for RAPE are muslims?

What's the role of america in muslims murdering thai buddists?

What's the role of america in Turkish army stealing land of the greeks in northern cyprus?

The list is a mile long, but I stop here because you probably don't even know where all the above places are.

"Wasn't that what Jesus was all about? Wasn't Moses all for compassion? Muhammad is for that too... "

Both jesus and moses, didn't advocate the idea that it was ok to marry a girl at 9. So where is the compassion in taking away a 6 year old from her DOLLS ...?

"Could 1.3 billion people be all that lost? "

Yes, ignorance is power, ignorance is bliss, and you are a walking example of it.
