What about Islamist media

Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:

Since "education" of a society plays an important and necessary role in fueling passions in a given direction I wonder why threatened countries do not take a more aggressive stance towards controlling or even eliminating islamist media as an option for non-muslims to participate in the encouragement of moderate islamic ideologies. If there is one vehicle that the islamists have taken better advange of then the west it has been their use of the media. Why does Al Jezzera still exist? If National Socialist newspapers and media outlets started to proliferate in Germany and Italy today would the world just stand by? Probably!
