Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:
in response to reader comment: For phonetics: and the word dhimmi and his bogus Arabic

Submitted by phonetics (Indonesia), Dec 21, 2006 at 02:54

My dear phonetics here is your Arabic language and islamic theology and hsitory examination for today and yes it is open book and yes you can consult your Mullah or imam if you wish:

1. What does the Arabic word: Dhimma really mean?

2. What is Mithaq Umar?

3. What heppened at the oasis of al-Khybar in 628CE?

4. What is a dhimmi and what is ahl al-dhimma?

5. What is a Hadith sahih and a hadith da3eef?

6. What is a matn and what is an isnad?

7. Is the Qur'an the only source of Islamic law and sunna? Think again before you answer this one.

I will be witing for your answers ya ayuha al-faylasoof al-kabeer with great anticipation.

This is what is the differentiation "dhimmi" (which is strange in itself since that would mean that you were protected under Islamic rule). Arabic cannot be translated without misconstruing interpretation: hence your hadith is my hadits, and 628 CE? Certainly at Khaybar. The Qur'an certainly isn't the only source of Islamic Law but you are misconstruing again Sunnah (not Sunna). I won't even go into maut and zinah (matn isnad?) Ya ayyuhalladziina. And I am not wasting time with a second class learner that still uses the Al- continuously. I never claimed to be a philosopher dhimmi nor someone with the greatest Arabic Knowledge, but whatever you know about Arabic doesn't make you knowledgable of Islam and your phlagrant intent on translating every Arabic Verse as being Islamic and in "your" translation is not viable nor credible. Come back with more questions when you've learnt to have more objectivity. Wassalam (Which to you would mean a general shalom or salam, but seeing as I'm Islamic it means I am promising you safety and love, a more connotative meaning of a language).
