Your own fault

in response to reader comment: The big mistake

Primarily of your own accord. Do you understand how the European colonization of the Muslim world has now led to poor economical situation in these countries and the subsequent "invasion" by them into your lands. Britain, for example has created so much trouble from its past days of colonization, from the mess it created with Palestine and the creation of Israel, to the Durrand Line issue between Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the region of Somalia's Odegon given to Ethiopia, etc. You must pay now for the "benefits" you gained then.

Your assumption that Muslims being present in your countries has led to the fear of terrorism is just unfounded. The fear of terrorism is a tactic that can be used at will by your governments to deceive public opinion in their favour. If anything, if you didnt have Muslims in your countries, you would be ever more ignorant of Muslims than you are now, thus leading to further isolation on both parts and a stronger "us verses them" attitude, and increasing the fear of the unknown. Because face it, a large part of fear has to do with a fear of the unknown as much as it has to do with the known.

If you want to defeat terrorism, defeat the underlying causes, delve deep into the basis of such a war, and o an aggression on your nation. First you must see what it is you have done to warrant such a response.
