first, yours is not a civilization

second, it's 1400 years that islam is immutable and always in the same swamps, if you didn't do anything in 1400 years why now is different? oh I see, because for 1400 years you've been successfull in keeping your dirtyness secret, but nowadays it's under everybody's eyes.

"These terrorists have nothing to do with MY beliefs"

these terrorists might say the same about you and reading the koran I see they are right. You are the one misinterpreting, they are the ones following the gestures of a caravan robber warlord.

"Do you not think that there aren't any mothers or fathers in the middle east mourning and scolding their children when they are brainwashed into believing that they have the right to take other peoples rights based on something that they have the nerve to call a religion when it is in fact an ideology?"

In algeria and more or less the whole maghreb they teach in school that christians are beasts, so there is no mother scolding the good pupils studying.
