muslims are not the burden on society

Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome (in North Carolina)
in response to reader comment: Muslims: Leave us alone

i was greatly moved by this article . now i understand what non-muslims think about a muslim believer. there are black sheep in every community but it doesnt mean that you label that whole community as black sheep.Jihad is a misconception which many non-muslims label as "HOLY WAR". Infact Jihad literally means to strive or to struggle in the way to Allah.

Also poverty is never celeberated in Islam. In fact Islam is the only religion which makes obligatory for every muslim(believer) who has enough money ,to give at least 2.5% of their wealth to the poor. Imagine if every millionaire gives away 2.5% of their wealth to the poor and needy ,poverty will be eradicated from this world.

Hence i request every person , whether he is a jew or a christian or a muslim , to read the scriptures of the particular religion before you condemn it, i.e. dont just look at the folllowers of Islam but look into its scriptures i.e. Holy Quran . Like this we will be able to understand each other properly and peace will prevail in the world.
