relevance of Islam

Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome (in North Carolina)
in response to reader comment: Has Islam become irrelevant?

Submitted by Anubhav Singh (India), Mar 16, 2006 at 05:58

by saying there is one god, the god of abraham, you just made the buddists, hindus, chinese and jains godless!!!
this is the basic problem with semitic religions. a prophet sent. a book written. and a god sending his postal messages via sky and dreams and angels. and lo! there we go. we have a religion!! is god so myopic. he always sent his messengers in middle east! what about the millions living in china and india and south america and africa? either they were so good that god did not feel the need to send any messenger and 'reveal' any religion. or god just forgot them!
