For Mike: Yuval, Richard and Mark make clear the origin of Islam itself is a problem.

Mike, you are right that people who claim to be part of many faiths have done evil deeds. Yuval, Richard and Mark are stating the practical actions we see from Islam followers is that their holy book tells them it is required to kill people who don't believe in their deity. The teachings of Christ are totally opposite and state clearly that it is up to each individual if they want to follow God.
As an example, people who have claimed to follow Christ and have abused or killed others supposively in His name, have NO Christ teachings to back their beliefs up.

The biblical teachings are that all have a free will to follow God or not. We people are not the judges and executioners if someone chooses a different god, as long as they don't use those beliefs to abuse or kill others.
In Islam, the opposite is taught: the people are required to judge others and then kill them if they don't state they believe only in their deity Allah, pray the proper way, etc.

May God have mercy on us all. And may we find love in our hearts and ways to help others to get there too.
