The Misunderstood Religion of Islam

Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome (in North Carolina)

In reality, I don't give a darn about "understanding Islam". What I do give a darn about is that the politically correct Left, the multicultural Left, went on a rampage and, one-by-one, is destroying everything that one day unified the West, leaving on its wake a population that now can do nothing but wait for the crash, as the deer caught by the headlights while crossing a country road. This Left that relegates our philosophical and religious traditions to a fading background; that distorts the concept of equal opportunity by shifting it from a right to succeed in accordance to hard work to some form of collectivized "equality of outcome", bending backwards to accommodate every one of the "disadvantaged" that washes up on our shores; this left that, willing or not, in a move to make Antonio Gramsci proud, is even doing Bin Laden's dirty work for him: slowly beating the population into submission by making us accept, bit-by-bit, the Shari'a law in Europe, and slowly setting the ground for a vast Islamic state, one in which our hard-won freedoms will have disappeared, one in which a non-Muslim will always be a second-class citizen. Because this is not about faith. It is about politics.

This "illuminated left" found in Islam something that they couldn't find anywhere else: the possibility of a State in which the supreme dictator is an imaginary being to whom, a priori, no fault can be attributed to, against whom nothing can be said, making it immune to the courts of law and to common sense. And on the "disadvantaged", it has found the new proletariat, and a lucrative base for their political ambitions.

So, let's cut the bull: stop Muslim immigration, stop the special treatment to special groups. They are the ones who don't want our freedoms and our democracy; let's stop wasting time trying to give it away. WAKE UP!
