sudden Jihad Syndrome

Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome (in North Carolina)

RIght ON!

We are dealing with a religion which espouses death to all others- witness Pakistan's trial of a Christian convert. It is not politically correct, but only sensible to be aware of this problem.
The bigger question is what to do about it.

It is time for a clear national debate on defending our country, our society, our culture from those who will destroy it if we do nothing.
I propose that we stop the funding for terrorism at it's source: Cairo, Riyadh, Damascus, Tehran and any other city/government that is in this category.
Warnings, requests, sanctions and political posturing are futile and only allow time for greater malfeasance.
I do not propose war or invasions.
I do propose surgery: extirpation of the cancer. Radical surgery is always hard, but it may be life-saving.
I propose that the capitals of those countries that fund and support terrorism disappear.
This may have the secondary benefit of helping bring clarity to the vision of those in Moscow, Beijing, and Pyongyang
