nice jobReader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome (in North Carolina) Submitted by z (United States), May 31, 2006 at 23:33 first, i applaud you for recognizing the state of the Muslim world. you truly are aware of the fact that most, if not all, countries who call themselves Muslim countries are corrupt. however, i do wish to ask you: why is it that you are using these corrupt countries as symbols of Islam? they are not. as a matter of complete fact, the world today has NOT ONE Muslim country within it...Islamic Law is not followed anywhere in the world today. so yes, we do have a right to fight...just as your precious west had its beginnings through violence and injustice (just ask the Native Americans), so will the nation of Islam. except you all (i.e. the west) will be the Native Americans...crying out for "justice" and "freedom" when even in this "free" country, no government funding is provided for the building of mosques (they are provided for churches, though, aren't they?). you want more? fine. you say the world will never become Islamic, and that Islam is not the answer. well, I ask you, what is the answer? how much freedom do you want? are you really so arrogant that you wish to forget about your Lord and instead submit to the pleasures of the world? where did you come from? can you, out of scratch, make a living, breathing, human being? you cannot. never. but you still talk about "democracy" and "freedom" for people without even giving a thought of just WHY you were put on the earth. the Muslims are not against freedom or government by the people (notice I didnt use "democracy" because that would connotate a reference to Western style of government). they are against the arrogance of giving people freedom that they are not entitled to. so dont tell the Muslims that they should stop complaining and move to a "Muslim country" because in today's age, THERE IS NONE! my regards, slash.
