Hiba, Re. your statement: "Why don't you report the religion of these crazy people?? like "a Christian college student killed his roommate" ??
Because no one else who commits these heinous acts do so in the name of his religion or holy books. Just read the letter Mohamed Taheri left behind, he claims that after studying and reading the Koran he came to this decision, that its OK per the Koran to kill Americans .

You personally may not kill anybody, but the fact remains that many Muslims the world over are killing in the name of their prophet, their religion and their holy book the quran. Its not the news papers that report as such. But the statements made by these killers; that they do so in the name of Islam.

These are the statements made by Mohamed Taheri. He is using his religion to justify what he did.

"Allah in the Koran gives permission for those who follow Allah to attack those who have waged war against them"

"Taheri-azar claimed that the Koran permits him to "to punish the U.S. government, the enemy of my brothers and sisters in religion." He looks forward to using his court proceedings to broadcast his message to the world. "

As for your statement: Read the Quran first and make your judgments, most of us have read the Quran, the hadiths and sira and we have made our independent judgments about Islam, that is why there are threads such as this to air everyones view point.
On a strictly moral plane, Islam has very little to recommend it. Islam is barbaric to its core and vile in it's ideology. On the cultural plane, it is ridiculously backward, bigoted, childish and hateful. On the political plane it is a cancer which threatens the western world.

Lastly, I agree with you that all Muslims are not terrorists, but the fact remains that all terrorists in the recent past are Muslims.
I sincerely hope that you listened to the debate: Dr. Wafa Sultan had to say to Dr.Al-Khouli on Al-jazeera. If you have not, then here is the link: www.memritv.org.
