Tariq,

I'm sorry, muslims such as yourself keep on saying here that we (non-muslims) should read about Islam to understand it.

I don't want to, nor should I have to.

You are free to practice whatever religion you like. I respect your right. I don't and won't go quoting verses from the koran because I know nothing about it. There's been far too much preaching on these boards anyway. To the point where frankly I'm bored.

What I want to find out is why Islamists are not putting their house in order? With modern media the most visible form of islam is the radical variety and it is frightening the majority of the non-mulsim population.

It has to be up to muslims to sort out their own dirty laundry rather than us trying to convince muslims that there is a problem that is getting worse day by day.

It's no use saying that they are not true muslims. I don't know what a true muslim is, but when I see thousands on the rampage burning as they go, shouting anti western slogans and holding placards calling for beheadings I start getting concerned. Like I said in another post. How do we know who's a nutter and who isn't. It's up to you to root out the bad apples.
