Moslems Should Develop a Nice Form of Islam

Dear Prof. Pipes,

Your conclusion that Moslems should develop a nice and friendly form of Islam is not very convincing. The Islamists are to Islam what the SS were to most of the Germans under Hitler. 99% of Moslems identify with the Islamists views of the West.

The whole approach of "Radical Islam is the Problem, and Moderate Islam is the Solution " is not only wrong, but dangerous. It muddles out thinking and deludes us into inaction.

The only solution for the Free World is to equate today's Islam with Nazism. There are many similarities and convergences. Islam must be recognized for what it is: a fanatical political ideology for the conquest of the world. Most of the major conflicts in the world today have an Islamic background. It is imperative that we understand the modus operandi of Islamic conquests, in the past and today.

Just as one would not permit the Nazi party to operate freely in one's country, so it is time for the Free World to implement a POLICY FOR THE CONTAINMENT OF ISLAM. If Islam holds to the tenets of Dar es Islam and Dar es Harb. So be it. Islam can only be practiced in the land of Islam. Not in our midst. Push back the Islamic territorial conquests wherever it is possible, by supporting those that Islamists attack; whether in the Philippines, Thailand, Africa, Israel.

Islam will either implode or it will explode.

Only by containing Islam can we cause it to implode. By imploding I mean that it will go through a Reformation, such as the Christian World adopted after many centuries of exploitation by its clerics.. Only through the separation of State and Religion can some form of real democracy, and the liberation of the Moslems from their despotic regimes, whether the Mulhlahs or the Military, can be attained.

You write: "The whole approach of "Radical Islam is the Problem, and Moderate Islam is the Solution " is not only wrong, but dangerous."

Fine, but then you write: "Only by containing Islam can we cause it to implode. By imploding I mean that it will go through a Reformation, such as the Christian World adopted after many centuries of exploitation by its clerics."

We agree, for by "moderate islam" I mean an islam that has been modernized in the way you suggest.
