in response to reader comment: muslims are not the burden on society

Submitted by plusaf (United States), Jan 24, 2008 at 01:05

if what you say were true, the 2.5% from all of the billionaires in the oil-rich Islamic countries would have abolished poverty down to the last citizen of each and every Muslim-populated country in the entire world.

it ain't the millionaires who are stingy, it's the billionaires of Islamic wealth. poverty among the Islamic peoples is rampant, and the religious rhetoric of 20 [or however many] virgins and a wonderful life in the hereafter for martyrs is one of the only offers of a "good life" that can be made, and that doesn't even "deliver" on the promise while they're alive. in the meantime, i don't use the term "suicide bombers" any more... the correct term is "homicide bombers."

don't shower us with your hypocrisy, please....

once again, please list all of the Islamic recipients of Nobel Prizes, right under the Christian/Catholic and Jewish ones, please, and we'll start to begin to commence to think that maybe some of the contributions have been positive.

oh, and again, a ps. to all future martyrs.... did they promise you that all of the virgins would be of the opposite sex? no? make a note of that ......
