Selling the West Short

Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome (in North Carolina)

Submitted by van der Ley (Canada), Mar 16, 2006 at 20:06

Western culture continues to sell itself short, handing out their borders and achievements to the enemy in exchange for disdain and contempt. Immobilized by fear and "politically correct" thoughts and actions, western society remains silent in face of what Islamists slowly but relentlessly continue to inflict: an acceptance of shariah law and jihad. As hordes of muslims continue to take advantage of the West's naïveté, refusing to integrate, and living under rules that, rather, create a state-within-a-state, the politicos and their bureaucracy – which, unfortunately, we elected to govern us – seem to have already surrendered to perfect dhimmitude. Enough is enough. Islam is not a religion of peace: it is the cult of destruction... So, West, for Pete's sake, WAKE UP. And as for the other ones, stop kissing the floor – you're wasting your time.
