Hi Slash!

You have raised some very good points indeed. I'm a Muslim myself living in the US often wondered why the Muslim countries do not allow freedom and migration like the US. Here's a verse from the Quran, you will find this on IslamicGuidance.com:

Pikthal (2:256)
There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

Yusuf Ali (2:256)
Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.

Shakir (2:256)
There is no compulsion in religion; truly the right way has become clearly distinct from error; therefore, whoever disbelieves in the Shaitan and believes in Allah he indeed has laid hold on the firmest handle, which shall not break off, and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

Politicians in power do not reflect the views of Islam. Saudi Arabia, for exampl is a friendly country of the US but US is tolerating what's going on there, why? Oil interest. The US is becoming like those mid eastern countries, wait and see. I think dirty politicians use religion to their own advantage.

It is also true that people are executed for little reason in many Muslim countries whereas Allah himslef does not permit killing easily. Here's one verse:

For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth. Al-Quran(5:32)

So clearly, they do not live by the Quranic teachings. People come to the US because US is different than those countries and people could live here freely but looks like the US is joining their club. One thing I always preach to people that when you migrate to another country live by their rules beacuse that's the oath you take when you take the citizenship and any oath whether oral or written is binding and Allah will take us to acoount for it. I cannot live here and talk against the US but one last thing I must point out that if you open the world map and take a closer look at who is oppressing who you'll know that it's not the Muslims who are invading others land it's not the muslims who are building military bases but it's the west doing exactly that in Muslim land. So, who are the oppressors? We are. I say we because I'm also a part of this crime. Think we just went into Iraq and killed over 30000 people in the name of a false cause and trying to shove democracy down their throat. Palestinians voted in a democratic way and choose a party that we do not like and we're punishing them for it. If mine or your family got blown up by a missile of another country for no wrongdoing and you or I were left alone without any relative, job and hope for future what would we have done? Judge justly and you'll see the clear picture.

I end this by saying that Islam is rulling the whole world. If you're a believing Christian or Jew or Muslim then you know that Islam means submission to the will of the God and whoever submits to that purpose is a muslim and Islam is a continuation of Judaism and Christianism and a true muslim does not differentiate between a believing muslim, jew or christian nor the prophets of these faiths. Peace. Live and let live. This world is Allahs not ours and we'll leave it behind one day and will meet again.
