Koran vs.Jihad

Reader comment on item: Sudden Jihad Syndrome (in North Carolina)

Submitted by Jim (United States), Mar 14, 2006 at 10:44

Great article. If more non-Muslims understood that the Koran is in Islamic tradition God's direct words and includes God's commands to Muslims to kill infidels in [chapters] SURA XLVII and SURA XLVIII, we would not be attemptitng to win the hearts and minds as much as increasing our wariness and our preparedness. The former says cut off infidels heads and make a great slaughter, enslave them and ransom them. The latter creates jihad and an out war against infidels with God's promise of booty as a reward on earth and of paradise if killed in battle. This is still taught today,1400 years later, and is the eternal command from the Muslims' God to kill all infidels.
