Hey Joe,

(That kind of has a ring to it)..
I as enjoying your interesting reply until it got to the part about suspending elections for 10 years, closing borders etc..

Woah... steady on.. Surely there is some other way..

I do like the making people swear an allegiance thing. But I think that it should be imposed on all citizens and residents. Rather than interning those that refuse, they could be deported if non-citizens and refused access to government programs and education if Citizens..

Even my suggestion is probably harsh but I think yours is just too far out there....

Deregistration of Islam as a recognised religion is an interesting idea but probably also not practical. Perhaps instead, mosques could be required to be open to the public and to have a committee of local leaders (including non-muslims and law enforcement officials) review creditials of Imans.

Islamic schools need also to come under greater scrutiny, I for one am against them and think their closure would be a good thing. Those that want their children to get a good islamic education could be given a one way ticket to Egypt or Pakistan.
