No the west is not simply defending themself by attacking the terrorists, they are attacking innocent people. So that's ok just becuase it is not muslims doing it? Okay maybe some terrorist attacks are done by muslims, but you can't blame the whole religion if some muslims are doing that. Islam is not to blame, but when muslims are defending their people and NOT killing innocent people then I don't see any problem with that.
