"But as a civil society, America should hold itself to higher standards. It will be arrogance and ignorance to claim that: "We have the right to blaspheme and offend"."

No, its called "freedom". You really do not understand the United States. Please feel free to return to whatever 3rd world Islamic country you came from. You see, we are a "civil society" - and members of a "civil society" do not react to a minor insult with riots, murder, rape, and suicide bombs.

"Quran rejects any violent acts even in war-time, much less in peace-time protests."

This is a lie. Mohammad committed the most vile of crimes - as documented in the Hadiths.

From my copy of your book:

"Fight those who believe not in the Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor fobid that which Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor follow the Religion of Truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiority and they are in a state of subjection". Sura 9:29

"Go forth, light and heavy, and strive hard in Allah's way with your wealth and your lives. This is better for you, if you know." Sura 9:41

"Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and teh hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate" Sura 9:73

In the Talmud (the Old Testament) there are specific calls for violence, but no "slay the infidels" lines.

"Furthermore, Quran clearly bids muslims not to blaspheme the leaders of any sect, cult, or religion, etc. and holds all Prophets of God in respect."

This is also a lie. The very Koran does this. ...
