So, you say that: (Muslims) are COMPLETELY FREE to believe or not to believe or follow or not to follow, according to Islam, the Qur'an states clearly, "THERE'S NO COMPULSION IN RELIGION".

If that's correct, why are Muslims sentenced to death if they try to renounce Islam? Tell that to the Afghan who is now on trial for his life just because he switched from Islam to Christianity.

Islam is no better, no worse, than Christianity, simply because ALL religions are the end result of mere superstition.
Whether a minister, a mullah or a rabbi, the church, the mosque and the synagogue simply want you to believe (in the Koran, Bible, whatever); they don't encourage questions! Reading the Bible is fine; but don't create waves if you find anomalies or something that doesn't make sense, or if you find that the god you worship seems to be quite a bloodthirsty devil.

I was encouraged to read specially selected verses comprising beautiful prose, but I read the lot. Unless you have a strong stomach for that kind of thing, I suggest that you skip the horror stories in the Old Testament; they're enough to give you nightmares!
The New Testament is just as bad with its dire threats of eternal punishment in hell unless you repent and believe.

As someone recently wrote (paraphrasing): "You have to wonder about a religion that resorts to death threats to keep their followers." He was referring to Islam, but Christianity is no better; they're all the same.
Have faith and believe, don't think, is what they want you to do; that is, follow blindly.
Faith (Webster's Dictionary, 11th Edition): "Firm belief in something for which there is no proof."
Religion is the scourge of the earth; the cause of more misery, grief, pain and dissension than one can imagine.

Now, let me get back to hiding all those darn Easter Eggs!
