Nazism Cloaked in Religion

Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism

Submitted by Laker (United States), Feb 10, 2006 at 23:50

Islamic Imperialism has the same goal as did Hitler, which is to dominate the world through violence and intimidation. The clever part of this scheme is that it hides behind a religion which protects it. This is what has happened in Iraq where weapons have been purposely hidden in Mosques which could not be attacked or entered by Christian soldiers.

Iran before Khomeni was very accepting of freedom and western values, when the Mullahs took over they required women to cover their heads, a seemingly small thing but it communicates compliance and intimidation, just as the Jews of Hitler's Germany had to wear the Star of David. Now these new Nazis want to take away "Freedom of Speech" through a seemingly insignificant matter of what cartoons can be published. When will we see these cartoons published in that bastion of free speech, The New York Times?
