Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism

Dhimmi no more, I must say that you are not making Islam look any worse than the path you have seemed to follow. If you wish to make this world a better place to live in, which is what i presume you would like to see happen, the last thing you need to do is attack someone's religion. We do not progress and develop by doing that.

There is the saying: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good." It seems to me that that saying needs to be applied here. We see here 'dhimmi no more' is disrespecting Islam and its followers on this site, and of course the Muslims retaliate with their disrespect towards non-Muslims or vice versa. But where does it stop? Do you not see that hate rewarded with more hate will only make it worse? And how do you expect a Muslim to listen to you or change their mind if you are constantly attacking them like this?

It is only love that can break the bonds of hatred and intolerance, not more hatred.
