You are part of the problem, AH, with your apologist, understanding, appeasement approach. It's the likes of your thinking that has gotten Europe in its fix with Islam, which will have disasterous consequences if if attitudes aren't changed. Oh, you must be a fine, understanding, enlightened fellow, and so tolerant, to lecture us on our misunderstanding of Islam... The Islamists are laughing at you and the rest of us fear your ignorance. Deal with reality, AH, not with the utopia world we all wish we lived in. ... Too many like you and defeat will be certain. This is a clash of civilizations going on right now - it's started, whether you want to turn your eyes from it or not. We have to harden ourselves to these people, and to folks like you who continuously make excuses for Islam and Muslims: "Ït's not the real Islam." What? I can't remember one time a terrorist claiming to kill a bunch of innocent people in the name of Jesus Christ. I don't remember any beheading filmed with banners that say "The Brigades of Buddha." It wasn't Catholics putting fatwas out calling for the deaths of cartoonists, nor was it Jews in the streets threatening (on placards) to to behead those who insult God. Neither Methodists nor Baptists aren't storming schools and in the name of Jesus slaughtering hundreds of innocent, little children. There's not a single Christian or Jewish or Buddhist website that calls for the outright slaughter of "infidels," and tries to recruit other Christians or Jews or Buddhists to "Jihad," though there are over 4,000 ISLAMIC websites (at last count) that do so. ...
