Dear Daisy,

After the collapse of Ottoman Empire the borders of Middle East is redrawn by Westerners. The dictators and Kings have always been supported by Westerners in the past and still today.
Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt are allies of Western States. Superpowers can end those dictatorships any time they want. Iraq war is just an simple example. Bringing democracy to Middle East have been tried but recent elections show that people in Middle East favor Islam.
In short, All ways go to Islam.

I am an educated Muslim. Education means getting a job, nothing more. I admire Muhammed, peace upon him. As a Muslim I believe that I am created to worship Allah. Educating people is my job (computer programmer) and good deed to show how I worship Allah.

Except those who show patience and do righteous good deeds, those: theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (Paradise). (11/11)

I don't know how you visualize Islam. But reading only title of media news is not good enough.
Don't believe fabricated stories saying Muslims live in tyrannies. Some ignorant people buy those stories of some double-faced people who want to make money by publishing baseless books or websites against Islam. Thanks to internet normal people can exchange their views honestly.
