Someone has to say something

Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism
in response to reader comment: No One is Listening

On the other hand, how will people like that Muslim who posted the article listen if no one retaliates back? Sure, you can say you have to love them all you want. But isn't it just a little disturbing and doesn't it make you angry at what the people of the Muslim faith are doing? Have you not forgotten September 11, 2001, when so many of Americans were murdered in the attacks on the World Trade Center? And also in the news just this past week how many terrorists, many of the muslim faith, were going to blow up planes headed for the United States? Who really cares if these people change from their Muslim faith? I personally don't. I'm just worried about being safe, and if "arguing" is the only way for them to stop their violent ways, then so be it. I'm not about to stand up and be silent and jeopardize my freedom for the sake of some religion that I don't even belong to, much less even consider joining. How can you have love without peace?
