I agree that the visible reflection you are seeing is wrong and not what the religion teaches. It is the duty of all Muslims in this world to realize this. Suicide bombings and flying a plane into a building (still no concrete proof that Bin-Laden is the Man. Farenheit 9/11 reflects something to think about) and killing innocent civilians is not called a Martyr. A Martyr is a person who sacrifices his life for his religion if it is under direct attack. Islam permits defense and not attack.

Donvan, do some research on Sufism and you will see the inner, mystical dimension of Islam and this goes for the rest who think differently. The famous saying "Do not judge a book by it's cover" is very relevant. The cover may be torn, mishandled and in bad shape but the content is intact. God has no biological son but in my opinion Jesus can be the spiritual son of God just as we are all the children of Adam. Jesus has the power to bring back the dead how could he have sufferred and died as reflected in the "Passion of the Christ". It is my belief, God cannot taste death and surely this would apply to his spiritual son.

This is purely my opinion from the bottom of my heart. Before we sub-divide people into religions pause a moment to reflect on the messages that were brought by the prophets to Mankind. Is is not true that the messages were for all of Humanity and not a particular group of people. Hope we all work together to find peace and prosperity and work towards the unity of Mankind. PEACE BE UPON YOU
