A couple of quick facts regarding the common lie about the creation of Israel being a solution to a European problem.

This lie has been bandied about by Arabs for so long that most of the West has bought into it. However, it is a lie. A majority of Jews living in Israel fall into one of three categories: Arab jews, children of Arab Jews, or grandchildren of Arab Jews. In other words, the majority of Jews in Israel would be there whether or not Israel was ever created.

Secondly, the plans for the partitioning of Palestine were drawn up by Lord Balfour in 1919, over 20 years before the start of WWII. The plans were drawn up, not to deal with a European problem (since there wasn't one as yet), but to deal with the systematic, wide-ranging abuse of Jews in Palestine by their Arab neighbors. It should be noted that Lord Balfor, like most of the English aristocracy of that time, was no Jew-lover. In fact, like his peers, he was a bit of an anti-semite. However, he saw before him a moral problem that had to be solved.

People in both the West and in the Muslim world need to go back to school and relearn history. However, this time, they need to learn the facts.
