in response to reader comment: I SEE CHRISTIANS ARE BEING HATEFUL AS USUAL

After reading your description of Christians I just thought i would try to enlighten you as i have grown up in a Christian home and for around half of my 27 years iv been a born again Christian. And i actually know Christians and I know a lot of people who are not and whether or not you believe me i can say without the shadow of a doubt that real Christians are so much kinder and so much nicer and have goals that are good in their hearts. and their actions are so much better too than one who doesnt follow Christ.

does being a Christian transform you automaticlly into a saint?...errr,no. and only a saint would not get stired up when seeing innocent people and children being horribly killed for what its worth is a worthless cause. Just because we are Christians it doesnt mean we are or think that we are perfect,I hear people at church and even our pastor and his wife willingly freely tell us that they are nowhere near perfect, they even use there faiures to illustrate things sometimes. So how are we hypocrites? we try to show Love more so than anyone else in this fallen world. maybe if you knew a few Christian people you would see this for yourself. But my guess is that you have read only read columns or something that is dedicated to ridiculing Christianity. I mingle with alot of Christians and iv never once heard anyone talk about killing anyone. WE do things wrong yeah and can be nasty at times. fippin heck WE...... ARE........ PEOPLE!!!!

all people are different and not all who say they are Christians are. i.e. 'Yeah im from England so im a Christian'. how many times have people said that? and theres quite a number of people who go to church at easter and Christmas and call themselves Christians. Like i say we who are Christians are not saints....we are humans, but we are(with the help of our LOVING creator,God) trying to become a people of God and this dont happen over night nor can we reach perfection as Gods word tells us. How many Christians was it who spoke about killing anyone anyway?? and do you know that they are Christians??....errr,no only God knows that. Please learn about what you are talking about before getting on your high horse and tar every Christian with your brush of righteosness oh perfect one. Oh and who is it out there who have given up the comfort of their home and country to help people incapable of helping themselves who live in disease and appauling conditions?? its not you is it. learn about what Christianity has and still does contribute to the world beings you are taring them with the same brush. once you have done that, then your comments are valid and worthy of being heard.
