Respect? Try separating Mosque and State.

Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism

Islam's demand for "RESPECT" is simultaneously a demand for non-accountability.

Lots and lots of Muslims live in Denmark (largely on the dole, by the way, even though the majority are now citizens). Danes have freedom of the press. Muslims are Danes. Danes have separation of of religion and state .. No wait .. Most Danes have separation of religion and state but Danish Muslims have something different than the rest of the Danes (apart from the bulk of Danish welfare benefits ) -- Danish Muslims have Muslim Imperialism and this has kept them immunized from any form of constructive public criticism.

How? Because if anyone goes within 500 feet of a discussion of a problem having to do with civil affairs having to do with Muslims .. Danish (and way too many other) Muslims cry 'Foul play! You are attacking my religion (which is completely enmeshed in my idea of state no matter where on earth I live). "

This is anti-social behavior and cannot be allowed to continue.

Solution? Muslims need to separate Mosque and State. Maybe they can't do this in dictator dominated places in Islam (although they should) but the West is free and Muslims need to Respect That. And if Muslims cannot see that in the West Mosque and State are separated .. then Like it or Lump it (as we used to say as kids) because they really are separate.
