Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism

Submitted by Joe Fitzgerald (United States), Feb 7, 2006 at 16:08

I applaud your comments re the Muslim violent reaction around the world (somewhat delayed) re the "cartoons issue". Your point is well taken, the deeper issue is not Muslim hypocrisy but Islamic supremacism.

It is clear the more the Islamist terrorists push the West and the more the West and moderate Islam are intimidated the more the terrorists are encouraged. Might not these explosions be a precursor to a big hit or hits, now that the Islamist terrorist leaders, sub-leaders have their volitile troops fired up. Such actions would be to convince those who are "fence sitters" on the issue of submission to move over into the submission camp.

There is no question in my mind the world is choosing whether to stand firm for freedom and prevail or submit to tyranny and repression. Havn't we been here before? Looks like we are going to have another go. Fasten your seat belt.
Always look forward to reading and hearing your comments. Keep up the good work.
Joe Fitzgerald
