Cartoons vs classification of non-muslims

Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism

Submitted by S.C.Panda (India), Feb 8, 2006 at 05:23

Dear Prof Pipes,

Islam cannot occupy the moral high ground to demand apology in respect of the offensive cartoons. All freedom loving humanity should demand the obnoxious Islamic classification of humans, viz.,(1)Momins,(2) people of the Book and (3)Kafirs/Infidels to be defended and explained by the Muslims in an open debate.

Hindus are the worst sufferers of Muslim brualities for the last 13 centuries and and these brutalities are still continuing in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Kashmir even in this internet age. In this respect human rightists are strangely silent.

Regards, Sincerely, S.C.Panda, India
Prof Daniel Pipes, MEF,USA.
