Reader comment on item: Cartoons and Islamic Imperialism

Submitted by Singha (United States), Feb 7, 2006 at 10:40

I have always held, unlike those like Daniel Pipes, that by themselves Muslims will never enter the moderate path. Fundamentals of Islam as enshrined in Quran and Mohummad'f Life (Hadis) ensure that.

It is critically important to expose Quran and Mohummad to the standards to which others constructs are held. This is an ideological imperative to save our way of life and also to expose Muslims to moderation. Only critical look will make everyone understand that the Emperor (Islam) is wearing has no clothes and looks awful.

Let not the Arab oil make us compromise on our core principle enshrined in First Amendment. Let not the Quran become our constitution.
