"Mutual respect is probably a sine qua non condition. Immediate visible measures could be handing over Guantanamo detainees to the United Nations, apologizing with sincerely for the humiliation of detainees, and putting pressure on Israel to free occupied land.

Blah, blah, blah. Sure bub. Just as soon as hell freezes over. When are those who did the beheadings going to be brought to justice? They're chopping the heads off of civilians who were there trying to help them, not soldiers. The soldiers didn't deserve being gutted and beheaded either. I see there was a video tape of the gutting of those US soldiers. Maybe we should do the same to the "innocent" Guantanamo detainees since all you people understand and respect is the "eye for an eye" mentality and the only people Muslims think are innocent victims are Muslims. Any religion that thinks raping and murdering women because they acted "inappropriatly" is just plain evil, rotten, mean and nasty. Islam is a religion made by men for men. Muslim women and children are screwed, literally and figurativly. The rest of the world needs the Middle like a fish needs a bicycle. Westerners, if they don't have what they need either make due with what they have or invent something better. If we had no more oil I'm sure that somebody would come up with a soulution. Never underestimate the ingenuity of the west and we will not cower to terrorists or go silently into the night.

And, like it or not, the Jews are God's chosen people and the land belongs to them
