Dear Harrak,

You mentioned that if I can Muhammad a murderer I might as well call Moses, David, Salomon murderers. The only problem with that conclusion is the fact that it puts you in the position of directly calling God a murderer. Is that what you are trying to do? It is not possible to call Moses a murderer. Who destroyed Ramses army in the red sea? was it Moses or God?
Who hit Egypt with the ten plagues? Was it Moses ? Or was it God? I will let you answer these questions. Can you say matter of factly that Muhammad did not a murder... ? You can answer that too.

As far as the renaissance goes, Europe did not drop the Bible to make happen. As a matter of fact they reached for it. Remember during the renaissance the printing press was invented. That machine made it possible to mass produce Bibles therefore rendering it available to the average European.

One thing Europeans dumped was the theocratic rule of clergy, something muslims have yet to do. The wide publication of Bible made Christians see the humanity of Jesus Christ. Thus the most important chapter of the renaissance came into being, what we call HUMANISM.
