in response to reader comment: Cartoons can get infidels killed

"Dont you know how much politically correct and liberal are college professors and appease whoever gives the bigger grant."

Notice the conspiracy theories that all bigots resort to: "all scholars are in cohots and lying." If you go to nazi sites, they too whine about political correctness and how everyone is collaborating against them and lying about Jews.

"This is what Google writes "

This is not what "google writes." This is what some anti-Muslim author writes. You didn't even quote the link. I remember that controversy several years ago. The course was an introductory course on Islam to freshman. Not a serious scholarly class on Islam.

"You must have also heard of Prof Esposito of George Washington University who gets fat Saudi grants and writes apolegetic sanitized books on islam, which sell very well in all muslim countries. Both of them refused to reply when faithfreedom.org wrote to them."

Esposito is a real scholar with Phds. Why they heck would he "respond" to a 'debate' from some Internet bigot? You got to be kidding me. I have noticed that Nazi sites also resort to this tactic by posting 'challenges' to scholars to debate them (as if anyone is going to bother). Here is an example

"Paul Grubach is a potent and active American Revisionist who has just issued an open challenge to any credible individual to debate him in 'The Revisionst' journal on the topic of the alleged German WWII homicidal gas chambers."

"Here is what Wikipedia"

Anyone can edit Wikipedia -- sometimes it has good info and sometimes it has nonsense.

When you are talking to me, you need to quote a reliable scholarly site -- like I did.

A real scholar, from a real university (scroll down on the section on Islamic invasion of India). I will take his word over any bigot site -- just as everyone should use a grain of salt when reading nazi sites on Judaism.
