in response to reader comment: Islam Is Seeking World Domination

Submitted by Amir (United States), Feb 19, 2006 at 16:13

"Fundamental Islam is on a path to attain world domination, the long standing goal of Islamic ideology since the seventh-century."

Islam is a missionary religion just like Christianity. Sure you can find some quotes from some Muslims saying stuff like Islam will dominate the world, just as you find many Christians claiming stuff like that. Several decades ago, the Pope declared that Africa would be a Christian continent soon. Christians spend a lot more money than Muslims in their evangelizing attempt to turn the whole world Christian. There are thousands of Christian fundies in Iraq with the goal of converting Iraqis. See http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A30001-2004May15.html

If you don't have any problem with that, why whine when the shoe is on the other foot?
