Hi Octavio

Richard has made great points and allow me please to add few comments.

Not only Europe needs to go back to their roots but also need to understand what the roots are. It doesn't make sense that a guy with his girlfriend who commit adultery by living together outside the holly marriage relationship can consider themselves practicing Christians, we really need to understand at least the basics of Christianity, teach our kids the right from wrong, watch them, love them, support them, educate them about other religions, and most of all educate them about Jesus, his interpretations of the commandments, his teachings and his love to us and them. European are so relaxed when it comes to Christianity, the young Europeans don't have examples to look for and can be easy targets to lots of the things that you are concerned about and more.

Another problem is with young European who are so busy with their needs and forgot the need to bring up children, that was the main reason Europe opened its doors to immigrants, because simply the age of the population is getting old and the low rate of new generation can not compensate for the gap.

I see it that we need to set example for our kids first, go to church on a weekly basis is extremely important and opens doors of hope for our kids, maybe they will not realize this at a young age but they will when they grow up, they have to know that if no one around to help, there is always almighty GOD that they can turn to

Family is the core of a community which is the core of a nation. If we don't take care of our families and our kids at a very early age, then we can't blame anyone else for our failure.

Having said that, there is a great hope in Europe, last time I went to Europe was last year for the World Youth day with my son, there was 1.2 million youth who attended last mass done by Pope Benedict

Octavio there is always hope all what we need is to work on it, do not think that you do not have the power to change EU, because you do

Peace be with you
