Do we need Islamic countries?

Aside from oil, I can't think of a single thing that we need from the Muslim world. If they wish to behave in such a way that they withdraw from us and we fear visiting them, the loss will be theirs. They are already at the bottom of the list of accomplishments. Why should we care?
