Obied :Muslim's tradition of violence starts from Mohammed and islam's early days.
Mohammed and his followers were weak in Mecca, they were peaceful and compromising. .All Mecca ayas are also peaceful and compromising.
In Madina after they became powerful through looting and pillaging ,they terrorized Arabia like never before. Madina ayas also became very violent. Mohammed and his followers carried out over 75 armed raids all over Arabia (Muslims beheaded 900 Quraiza jews in one day)..
When muslims were done with killing others they started killing muslims. Mohammed had many muslims beheaded for apostacy and hypocrisy. He even had their houses burnt down and one mosque demolished.
Abu Bakr, killed thousands of muslims in apostate war when muslims refused to pay zakat.
Three of the four rigtly guided caliphs were slaughtered by muslims. Ali, the beloved cousin and son in law of Mohammed fought a war with Ayesha the most beloved wife of Mohammed killing thousands of muslims. The war of Sifin between Ali and Maavia lasted for months killing tens of thousands.
The war of Khariji muslims also killed thousands.. Grandson of Abu Sufian Yezid bin Maavia fought with Grandson of Hussain and killed him and all his followers at Karbala.
Syed Amir Ali describes in his book "A SHORT HISTORY OF THE SARACENS" in the following words the fight between Yezid and other muslimsof Hijaz:
"... The noblest companions of the Prophet, both Ansar and Muhajerin, perished in that disastrous fight ... The Public Mosque was turned into a stable and the shrines were demolished ... Its best men were killed or fled for safety into distant countries. The few who were spared had to acknowledge themselves slaves of Yezid ..."
Indeed amongst the thousands of people of Medina killed included 700 who had committed the whole Qur'an to memory 12000 married women and 1000 virgin girls were raped. 1000 illegitimate children were born.
It is reported in Ta'rikh Ibn Qutaybah, that al-Hajjaj has killed in one day
more than seventy thousand muslims, till blood reached the door of the
mosque and the locks. Al-Tirmidhi says in his Sahih: On counting those
killed by al-Hajjaj, it was found that their number reached a hundred and
twenty thounsand.
This is the truth of al-Hajjaj, the culpritt who has violated all sanctities
of Allah, about whom the historians state that he has exceeded proper bounds
in slaying, torturing and mutilating the righteous and faithful men among
the Ummah, particularly the Shi'ah (followers) of the Prophet's Household,
who were inflicted with calamities that no other people suffered.

Ibn 'Asakir is reported to have said in his Tarikh, after mentioning those
killed by al-Hajjaj: After al-Hajjaj 's death, eighty thousand people,
including thirty thousand women have been found in his prison.
. His seige on the Hejaz resulted in the deaths of thousands of innocent
An Ummayyad leader once stated that if all the nations brought their most
tyrannical and evil rulers, the Muslims would only need to bring al-Hajjaj
to surpass the rest of the world's murderous rulers in evil.

Yes Obied, if muslims did this to their own, you can imagine what did they do to the countries they invaded. In Omar days when they invaded Iran, the massacre was so widespread that rivers flowed red for days.
