Dear Sidda

Reader comment on item: How the Cartoon Protests Harm Muslims [by Leading to a Separation of Civilizations]
in response to reader comment: Why not?

Submitted by Gabriel Grosso (Italy), Feb 17, 2006 at 18:57

Thank you, Sidda. You see, you live in America and the Atlantic Ocean is large enough to protect you. I live in southern-Europe and I live very close to those people. That is why I favour negotiations over attack. There are Middle-Easterns living here and that is why I am more reluctant to attack Iran.

However, like you said, there might be no alternatives and an attack might be unavoidable. In that case, war is the only option. Sidda, I have quoted you in my answer to commenter Amir. Don't forget to read my post on "illegal immigration" entitled "Amir".
