Israel should hand over occupied lands?

in response to reader comment: Islam is highway to modernity

I note the comments from one of your readers, but I have to question the veracity of those comments in light of the sentence that says "Israel must hand over occupied land".

Israel handed over the Gaza strip, but it seems that it is not enough for some. I think that there is a movement that is intent upon taking away from God's Chosen People, what was given to them by God. One can argue that the Palestinians were the occupiers and that they should return to their own lands forthwith. They should get out of Hebron and Bethlehem, and they should destroy the mosques that they have been building in those areas.

I am not Islamophobic because I respect all who respect me. What I am seeing is a group of immature people who are easily swayed when it comes to being whipped up in a frenzy. Is it coincidence that the rioting, and the flag burning seems to follow Friday prayers at the Mosque? One cannot describe Islam as a religion of peace when the adherents constantly do things such as these latest riots, protests, etc. It is this kind of thing that turns people like myself away from being sympathetic to any Muslim cause.

The cartoons are harmless and indeed most of the ones that I have seen are quite funny. They do not necessarily depict Mohammed; instead they depict the state of Islam today as it is seen by western eyes. The man with the turban on his head that is a bomb is the reality that we see because of all the murder-suicides that are happening around the globe. This depiction is very close to the real Mohammed since he was in the habit of forcing conversion by the sword.

The lack of maturity of a people who have been brainwashed to the point that they have lost their independence of thought is now quite obvious and it is this immaturity that is harming Muslims all over the world. Individuals continue to enjoy their relationships with others, but once the imams take over, breathing fire and mayhem then the hysteria begins. What are we to think when Imams are demanding that there be blood in the streets of London. Are we supposed to remain silent when we see a repeat of Nazism but this time disguised as Islam?
