in response to reader comment: Scandals in the Muslim and Western Media

"As mentioned in one of the comments I do agree beating Iraqi children is indeed outrageous. but let me tell you something, at least the media, foremost the British, don't keep quiet about it but show it and those who did it will get their punishment."

There is a great deal of propaganda and nonsense in Western media too. Watch Fox. Almost all American media was acting like cheerleader during the war. They were imbedded in the military and waving American flags.

"In Muslim countries you can beat, kill, rape, rob and blackmail as many people, not only children and women, as you want but nothing comes out because the media is the regime's puppet."

Pure nonsense. Rapes, blackmail, corruption is reported all the time in newspapers in Muslim countries You obviously don't read any. A rape of a woman in Pakistan (that became a big story in the West) was first reported by Pakistani newspapers. Most (if not all) newspapers in Pakistan are NOT owned by the govt. That's just a lie as you seem to be expert at that. They are privately owned. Same is true for many other Muslim countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria. Also, read some of the opeds in Pakistani papers. They are more critical of the present govt than most of the Western newspapers.
